Plagiarism Policy
International Scientific Pedagogical Research (ISPR), published by American Irfano Global Academy LLC, regards academic integrity, scientific objectivity, and the protection of copyright as its highest priorities. The editorial board maintains a zero-tolerance position toward every form of academic misconduct, including scholarly copying and falsification.
1. Types of plagiarism and prohibited practices
The journal considers the following to be serious research misconduct:
- Direct Plagiarism: Copying another author's work verbatim without citing the source.
- Paraphrasing without citation: Adopting the ideas or textual structure of another source by substituting words while failing to reference the original source.
- Self-plagiarism: Presenting as new work the text of an author's own article that has already been published in other outlets.
- Fabrication/Falsification: Groundlessly inventing or distorting the results of scientific experiments, statistical figures, or empirical data.
- Artificial text manipulation: Replacing letters with characters from a foreign alphabet (Cyrillic-Latin) to deceive anti-plagiarism systems, using hidden characters, or submitting AI-generated text without analysis.
2. Screening procedure and required similarity thresholds
All submitted manuscripts are checked using specially licensed anti-plagiarism software before being sent to reviewers:
- Originality level: Must be at least 80–85%.
- Legitimate citation (with correct references): A maximum of 15–20% is permitted (accounting for legal texts, standard terminology, and official formulas).
- Text taken from a single source: Must not exceed 3–5% of the total volume of the article.
3. Measures for detected violations
- At the pre-review stage: If a manuscript's originality falls below 80% or hidden copying is detected, the article is rejected outright and not returned to the author.
- In cases of serious plagiarism: If an author is found to have deliberately appropriated the work of others, they are placed on a "blacklist" across all publications of International Scientific Pedagogical Research (ISPR), and their subsequent scholarly submissions will not be considered.
- In cases detected after publication (Retraction): If plagiarism or falsification is found in an article after it has been published, the editorial board retracts the article. An official notice is published in the journal archive and in open repositories (Zenodo, DOI databases), and the author's institution may be informed.
4. Author's responsibility
By submitting an article, the author formally guarantees the following:
- The material submitted is entirely original.
- Strict references have been made to the intellectual property and ideas of others.
- For any claims or objections arising from copying or copyright infringement, the author(s) alone are personally and legally responsible.
